Bangalore, Oct 22: Rahul Dravid's love for batting still continues despite his retirement from the game. The same passion drove him to play for his club - Bangalore United Cricket Club (BUCC) during the weekend in the city. And "The Wall" added yet another century to his name.
At the HAL ground in Bangalore on October 19 and 20 (Saturday and Sunday), Dravid walked out in whites to play in the Karnataka State Cricket Association's (KSCA) Group I, Division II league match. It was a two-day game between Dravid's side BUCC and Friends Union Cricket Club (FUCC)

On the first day, Dravid was doing fielding duties - mostly at slip. And on Sunday, he came out to bat at number five and hit a hundred. His century helped the team get the first-innings lead and
three points. In June this year, Dravid had played for BUCC in the same league and scored 69 against Standard Cricket Club.
This was Dravid's first game since bidding adieu to competitive cricket on October 6 in the Champions League Twenty final for Rajasthan Royals against Mumbai Indians in New Delhi. Dravid retired from international cricket last year.
He quit T20 too earlier this month and will not be a part of Rajasthan Royals in the next edition of Indian Premier League (IPL).
The 40-year-old, every now and then, might continue to wield his willow for his club in KSCA league matches. He just wants to bat on and on.
