Wisden on Wednesday named Sachin Tendulkar in its all-time World Test XI, which is captained by legendary Australian batsman Don Bradman and includes other greats of the game.
Marking 150 years of the Cricketers' Almanack, Wisden announced the eleven that has as many as four former English cricketers.
The list includes openers Jack Hobbs and WG Grace, along with wicketkeeper batsman Alan Knott and pace bowler Sydney Barnes.
Three players from West Indies - Garry Sobers, Viv Richards and Malcolm Marshall - have also been kept in the eleven. Australia's master legspinner Shane Warne and Pakistan's prolific paceman Wasim Akram have also been named.
