Colombo, Sep 13: West Indies explosive opener Chris Gayle, feels the Olympic gold medallist, Usain Bolt is talented and could definitely excel in the game.

Recently Usain Bolt had expressed his desire to play the Indian Premier League while there are talks about the sprinter playing Australia's Big Bash League this year.

When asked Gayle, if he could excel in this sport, the Jamaican defended Bolt, as he said the sprinter had bowled a good competitive bouncer in a charity game.

"He wouldn't embarrass himself. In a charity game, he actually played against me and almost knocked my head off with a good competitive bouncer," Gayle said.

Talking about the sprinter's desire to play cricket, Gayle said there is nothing wrong as he has the ability to excel in cricket as well.

"It is nothing to take lightly. I don't see anything wrong," added Gayle.
