Delhi's 16-year-old offspinner Vikas Dixit has achieved the "Perfect Ten" by claiming all 10 wickets in a Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) League match in Delhi on Thursday (February 14).
Playing for KG Colts, Dixit took all 10 wickets for just 26 runs as the team defeated DTC by a huge 222-run margin at Bharat Nagar ground.
"We had put up 309/7 and in reply they were cruising well with 45 for no loss after 15 overs. After I was introduced in the next over, I immediately started getting wickets," the Dixit told "Deccan Chronicle" newspaper.
"By the time I got four, it came to my mind that I may get ten. But after I got eight, I became sure that I will get all the wickets. I am very happy and this may work well for my career as my name may be highlighted," he added.
