Mumbai, Sep 23: It was the perfect picture as two batting legends came together on Sunday. Former West Indian captain Brian Lara visited Sachin Tendulkar at the latter's home in Mumbai.
Lara and Tendulkar, the two modern batting giants met up. Tendulkar (@sachin_rt) tweeted a picture of both together at his place.
Tendulkar and Lara enjoy mutual respect for each other and also have a good friendship.
The Master Blaster said Lara was an "amazing player" and a "wonderful friend."
"Guess who dropped in at home...? An amazing player and a wonderful friend :-)," tweeted Tendulkar along with a picture. However, he did not add anything more about the visit.
Recently, Lara backed Tendulkar to continue playing for another two years.
Tendulkar has not been in good batting form recently. He was bowled three times in three innings against New Zealand in the two-Test series at home.
